SFTP adapter - same file name in receiver

Hi ,

 

My scenario is  File to SFTP. I have to copy the same file name from source to target.Its a ESR bypass scenario

I know how to do it in  FILE to FILE scenario. But incase of SFTP i dont know how it works.

 

Surprisingly, i  could not find any help document  for SFTP adapter on Help.sap.com . I have wasted 3 hrs searching for help document but it was of no help. I hve seen almost all the blogs on SFTP adapter but nothing was of help

 

Can someone tell me where can i find SAP Help docs for SFTP adapter?

test AS2 scenario with mendelson opensource AS2 server. 

send AS2 to PI.

B2B : ISA,GS and ST Segments Counters in EDI using Number Range Objects

Dear Experts,

 

We are using one  NRO objects to populate numbers for ISA/D_I12 & IEA_D_I12 and through graphical mapping we are assigning the generated number to header and trailer segments shown below.

Same like different NRO Objects for (GS ,GE)and (ST, SE) segments to populate D_28 and D_329 in 810.

 

 

When It is single IDOC  It fetches the values from the Corresponding NRO objects and passing during run time properly as the number generation happens only once in runtime.

But in case of collective IDOC, then the problem occurs here.I am configuring multipleNumbersPerMessage to generate multiple NRO numbers in a single payload,But the problem is  different numbers are generating and  is assigning as the  $B2B_UEBNR<nroName>$B2B_END_UEBNR is passing to both header and trailer segments because of multipleNumbersPerMessage and thus Header segments does not matches with trailer segment number.

 

Here the numbers are generating sequentially as many times $B2B_UEBNR<nroName>$B2B_END_UEBNR occursand header and trailermismatches.

How can i assign same number of  header segment to trailer segment in this case.?

Or please share any other ideas on control number generation ?Please help.

Scenario:sap proxy sender and soap receiver.

i am sending data from sap ecc using proxy.

Data is reaching to sap pi.

Now third  party people are asking me to provide target soap message with payload.

I donot have much knowledge in pi.

Hi Gurus,

I have an guees about how can i monitor Memory consumption, Threads report, session monitoring on PI 7.31 Java.

Before I can monitor these on http://fullservername/irj/portal but now when i put this on the PI 7.31 it does not work. it displays

 

  500   Internal Server Error
  SAP NetWeaver Application Server 

 

 

 

  Error: Application error occurred during the request processing.

  SAP Technology Troubleshooting Guide

Details: WebApplicationException log ID is [C0000ABE0393D961000000060000155C].

 

Would everybody helpme ??

Seeburger or Crossgate or B2B Addons?

Dear Experts,

 

We are in the process of migrating our Gentran EDI Interfaces to SAP PI. We have been using Seeburger AS2 adapter for an external non-EDI connection. But, to migrate all the EDI interfaces full fledge, which is the better choice - Seeburger (we still need to buy BIC module) or Crossgate or B2B Addons? We would like to implement/maintain these interfaces internally and not outsource it to SAP totally. So, please suggest the best option with the proper justification.

SAP PI 7.31 - Sender SFTP Adapter Dynamic File Name

   Hi Experts,

 

I have scenario in which I am getting two fields from the source system. I have to create a File Name from those fields and Pick the same File Name from a External SFTP Server located on the target and send it back  to the source system. I am able to create the File Name from the source data but my challenge is to place that File Name into the Sender SFTP adapter.

 

Please let me know how can I achieve this functionality? Is there a workaround to this problem?

Sender EDIseparator Configuration

Hi,

 

We are are configuring  :File-> EDI Separator->File Scenario  Referring : B2B- EDI Inbound -Step by Step Configuration .

File adapter picks the file successfully and EDI separator receiver splits the into 850 Transaction as the Input text file contains 850 ANSI X12 alone.

 

But the Sender EDI Separator communication channel is not identifying  850 transaction which got splits by the Receiver EDI Separator.

While motoring the Receiver EDI adapter we are getting the " Ansi X.12 channel waiting for messages matching message transaction set 850, Version / Release / Industry Identifier Code 004010, interchange receiver id  111 and interchange sender id  222". Sender EDI separator is not identifying and converting to XML and placing in the receiver file location.Below is the screen shot on EDI separator sender channel.



 

Is there any additional configuration required in Module and in Module configuration for sender EDI separator ??


 

Kindly guide as soon as possible .

I am developing below screnario

IDOC--PI--AS2(7.31)

while testing I am getting below error.

SAP B2B Add on - EDI Inbound

Hi All,

I have doubt in case of EDI inbound using EDISeparator (SAP B2B Add on). I gone through the document and as per my understanding, in inbound EDI there will be two interface

 

Interface 1) EDI (AS2 or File adapter) to EDI separator adapter (Receiver)

Interface 2) EDI separator adapter (Sender) to IDoc/ file/etc receiver (It may be something else also)

 

Q1. In case of interface (1) what should be the Outbound interface and Inbound interface. Since Interface (1) is used to separate mass EDI into individual EDI, so I am not sure about the interface use for mass EDI.

 

Q2. I believe there will be only single interface of type (1) for each EDI format (ANSI, EDIFACT, etc..) and there will be many interfaces of type (2) based on Partners and EDI transaction.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding and provide your inputs to clear my queries.

Help need.. Ansi X12 to SAP ORDERS Idoc conversion Using B2B Addons

Hi Experts,

 

Scenario: Ansi X12 file to SAP Orders IDoc.

 

I have followed the link http://scn.sap.com/community/b2b-integration/blog/2012/09/27/b2b-edi-inbound-step-by-step-configuration

B2B- EDI Inbound -Step by Step Configurationto construct the interface.

 

ANSI X12 850

Flow1: EDI_Sender(CC_File_Sndr)---->EDISeprater(CC_EDISeparator_X12-850_Rcvr)

Flow2: EDISeprater(CC_EDISeparator_X12-850_Sndr)--->IDoc_AAE (CC_IDoc_AAE_rcvr)

 

I am able to see the file sender channel picks the file and successfully send to EDI Separator.

The EDI Separator while converting throwing *** error:

 

Error: com.sap.aii.converter.x12.x122xml.X122XMLException: Error occurred at X12 document character 175: Cannot find conversion rules for 850/004010

 

Do we need to add anything in the B2B tables?

The interface is developing first time in the PI 7.31 box.

 

The screen shot from B2B Integration cockpit is attached.

 

Currently the table fields are empty and would like to know how the fields are added in the B2B tables.

B2B Addon - BPM Scenario Question

We have SAP  PO 7.4 single stack working on B2B Scenarios. We will be using AS2 Adapter to send and receive ANSI X12 messages like POs inbound, Order acks Outbound, PO changes inbound etc. We installed B2B Add on ESR Content and has some sample scenarios in  B2B Mapping Kit.

Scenario 1: When order received from Customer (850)  we need to send Functional Acks ( Both Positive and Negative ) based on the status of success / failure of IDOC Posting. How do we achive this scenario without BPM. What is SAP recommended solution ( RDS approach) for this scenario considering its ANSI X12 850 to IDOC Orders scenario. I'm thinking of using exit in IDOC Posting fucntional module to trigger Proxy to PI which wil lbe sent to Customer after Mapping.

Along with Funtional ack ECC should send ORDRSP IDOC to PI to ANSI X12 855 as well.

 

Scenario 2: in another scenario, If send Order 850 to Vendor wil lthey typically send 855 as a response ? Since Its Orders IDOC outbound, how to make this as synchronous to receive 855 and update ECC with ORDRSP IDOC  without BPM?

 

I would like to develope these scenarios avoiding BPM if possible. Since we are not implementing RDS solution,  we will be developing mapping inhouse. what is the SAP standard recommended approach if you used RDS ?

AS2 sender adaptor error

HI

 

I configured a scenario. AS2 connector is trying to send messages to PI. The message has not reached PI. It's single stack PI.

 

The client is getting this error when he tries to send the message:

 

Error message: Error sending message to AS2 server, Code 302:Found

 

What possibly could be the error?

 

We are using certificates

 

Is it possible to trigger AS2 messages from SOAP Ui tool?

Hi All,

 

I went through the below document on Trading Partner Management ( TPM  ).

I got some idea theoretically but I am having confusions on how to achieve practically.

 

In our case For Ex: The Inbound scenario we are developing is

Scenario1: AS2 sender to  EDISeparator Reciever .

Scenario2: EDISeparator Sender to  IDOC.

 

Scenario1 is common scenario which is to pick the EDI files from common VAN Mail Box.

Scenario2 we are planing as separate for each EDI messages for different customers.(more than 20 customers).

 

For Ex: Sender Id ,Qualifier,Receiver Id ,Qualifier we are planing to map separately for each sender ID's and Qualifiers.

If so number of EDISeperator Sender Channel  are increasing as like anything and this may going to be bad design I think and this made us to think on TPM as it is  able to find the sender id ,Qualifiers etc dynamically if my understanding is correct based on partner.

 

So please clarify my below doubts.

 

1. Is TPM Module configuration (TPMContentAccessModule) is possible only in EDISEparator Reciever channel?

 

2. Is there any possible way to reduce the number of EDISeparator Sender channel instead of maintaining different sender Id and Qualifiers in the channel.Is TPM can able to reduce the number of EDISeparator Sender channels?If so How?
