After Upgrading the B2B Add-On from basic installation to SP02 on Decentralized Adapter Engine.
In Communication Channel Monitoring, I am not able to see the status for B2B Adapter(EDISeparator) .
Also, In NWA,Some of the java application for B2B stopped implicitly.
.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Note : 1) Full Cache refresh is done for DAE.
2) B2B Upgradation is working fine on Centralized Adapter Engine.

I am trying to create a UDF which calls the NRO API to get the next number for the number range within the mapping.
However i followed the instructions in the NRO_API_Documentation.pdf but even though the UDF compiles I get an error when it tries to get the Factory.

I am working on communication setup with on of the bank's SFTP server using GXS.
I am able to successfully make a connection using WinSCP. The process that was followed was to login to the sftp server using the key on WinSCP, provide the Remote Directory as /DEFT-DEFT-A:/*BIN/ and log in ( which translates to CD DEFT-DEFT-A:/*BIN/ in Putty )
it takes me to a folder structure as
/<root>
USERID
DEFT-DEFT-A:
*BIN
It seems *BIN is letting the server know that we are sending the file in binary format. I could not find an option for file format on SFTP Adapter.
Using WinSCP I am able to drop a file as well. But the problem is when I try using PI to drop to connect to the same server, the log on the communication channel is

I do not understand if the file transfer is failing or the login it self was unsuccessful. Can someone help me in understanding the issue or what am I doing wrong here.

I have scenario in which I am getting two fields from the source system. I have to create a File Name from those fields and Pick the same File Name from a External SFTP Server located on the target and send it back to the source system. I am able to create the File Name from the source data but my challenge is to place that File Name into the Sender SFTP adapter.
Please let me know how can I achieve this functionality? Is there a workaround to this problem?

We need to retrieve the payload of all the messages which have been processed in last 1 month.
We do not have the message archiving configured currently.
Could you please let us know how can i retrieve the payload? We can not do it manually as the voulme is really huge.
Please help with suggestions.

I have a problem with Message Editor in B2B SP1:
I want to define a new EDIFACT message type, but when I opened Message Editor, a warning message "Your user has Read-Only permissions!" was displayed and "Create Message" button was disabled.
I read "Security Guide SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration, business-to-business add-on 1.0" and found some information about user roles. SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_J2EE ( I assigned it to my user, but it did not help)
SAP_XI_B2B_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE and SAP_XI_B2B_CONFIGURATOR_J2EE (those roles don't exist)
What kind of permissions I need for being able to configure message formats?

Dear Experts,
We are in the process of migrating our Gentran EDI Interfaces to SAP PI. We have been using Seeburger AS2 adapter for an external non-EDI connection. But, to migrate all the EDI interfaces full fledge, which is the better choice - Seeburger (we still need to buy BIC module) or Crossgate or B2B Addons? We would like to implement/maintain these interfaces internally and not outsource it to SAP totally. So, please suggest the best option with the proper justification.

In two separate instances with partners i configured File sender channel with AS2 reciever.
Getting three different errors as below:
First customer : I get "Delivered" but in Technical message "Validated-synchronous;Negative MDN Reason: MDN Disposition Modifier-Extension is error-Decryption failed"
Second customer : I get "Delivering" and later time out.
What can be different causes for these two types of errors. ?

All,
I'm struggling with my inbound EDI scenario.
I've a sender file adapter picking up an EDI file and a receiver EDISeparator channel receiving it. Dummy interfaces and no mapping involved.
No extra modules were used on both the sender and receiver adapter.
When I check the receiver EDISeparator channel, I get this error: no ruleset available (for my specific EDI message).
I also configured a sender EDISeparator channel:
Within this sender adapter, I used module localejbs/EdifactConverterModule
What am I missing here?

Hi all - I have a situation where I am doing an IDOC to edi along with variable substitution in the filename. I would like the IDOC number in the filename. The way I found to get the IDOC number was going into the payload (if there is another way to get IDOC number to put in the filename I would use that)
I get the error: Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: javax.resource.ResourceException: The variable substitution can not parse the message xml: Content is not allowed in prolog.
If I remove the variable substitution where I am attempting to get the idoc all works well and I get my output file, thus my assumption is that there is something wrong with my substitution.
I am assuming the XML I am parsing is prior to the edi conversion thus the payload is

My Scenario is Inbound EDI Scenario. I am facing problem during conversion of EANCOM to XML .
Control Key Scenario Association part with the EDI Content Manager is filled in properly. we are not doing anything in the above Control Key
Scenario Association part .Because whatever we are saving we are not able to see in the screen. Please find the below screen shot attached.
XSD produced from B2B Integration Cockpit was being used in the ESR.
No Acknowledgement Enabled.
We have checked with the possible option in the below blog.But not working

Please help in forming regular expression for Filename in SFTP adapter.
I tried with [a-zA-Z0-9_], [a-zA-Z0-9_].*, [a-zA-Z0-9_].txt ...etc, which didn't worked.
The following are the different type of files available in same directory
CPT_PO_TEXT_%02-06-09%_%15-28-50%.txt
P20120927060000.xls
APZ_20120927_T05D.csv
AIMS_POL_151209_1741.TXT
The numeric values change day by day and have configured 4 sender comm channels.
Please let me know what pattern can be used to pick above mentioned files along with its extensions.

We have B2B SP 03 installed and imported the EDIFACT B2B
tables.
We were processing inbound and outbound EDIFACT messages
with EANCOM message formats like EAN006, EAN008, etc. without any problems.
The EDIFACT converter module was used and in channel the
EDIFACT protocol was used.
To check something else, we uploaded the EANCOM B2B tables.
But from that point the edifact module is throwing exception saying no control
key association.
It tries to find the control key for EANCOM.
I understand that we can sort it out by setting the Control
key scenario association but the EANCOM content does not have all the versions
that are needed.
How to make the EDIFACT Converter module process the EDIFACT messages as before to process them just as EDIFACT instead of EANCOM.
In fact, I have deleted the B2B tables content related to EDIFACT and EANCOM messages and reloaded the EDIFACT SP 03 content again, but
no luck.

We are using the SAP B2B AddOn SP3 on SAP PO 7.4 and are implementing outbound EDIFACT interfaces towards customers and vendors. Within the EDIFACT UNB segment we need to populate the syntax identifier (UNB/S001/0001) and version (UNB/S001/0002) that the business partner expects.
The question now is how we can guarantee that the outbound EDIFACT message contains the characters that correspond to the syntax identifier and version that are used within the same message. For example the Euro charcter € should not be present when syntax identifer UNOA is used. Is there probably some kind of adapter module that can take care of this?
How did other people solve this issue?
