REQOTE message type using Edifact Converter module

$

Hi All,

We are trying to implement few EDI message types in EDIFACT using SAP B2B Addon (EdifactConverterModule).

we are trying to impelment both QUOTE and REQOTE but the issue is first there is no XSD for REQOTE message type, even ours BASIS people have verified it after downloading from SMP.So we checked both messages have same structure so we imported QUOTE's XSD(REQOTE name)  for EDI REQOTE interface but when we are puhsing the EDI message the communication channel is failing and is giving error as "No rule defined", for testing I tried changing MESSAGE Type value under EDI UNB segment to QUOTE it worked/passed through successfully.

Any Idea how we can approach with REQOTE implemenattion.

Thanks,...

SFTP ADDON - Sender adapter error

Dear Experts,

We've followed the blog http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Generating+SSH+Keys+for+SFTP+Adapters+-+Type+2 to generate the SFTP keys for PI server. We've successfully generated the SFTP Public and Private keys for our SFTP Sender Adapter and could refer the Private Key View SFTP_TEST and the associated private key sftp_key in the SFTP sender adapter.  Private Key is also uploaded at /usr/sap/P1D/SYS/global/SFTPKeys  (Notsure if this is really required as the keys are already mentioned in NWA key store)... and we've shared our public key to our SFTP vendor to upload it on the SFTP server (uploaded successfully there as well)

But, when I activate the sender SFTP communication channel, its failing with the error 'Exception Received: com.jcraft.jschException: Auth cancel'

Is this due to the key upload path issue -  bcoz Keys are not matching? Is there any other bean or param I need to mention in the sender SFTP channel? Please guide.

Thanks

Seeburger or Crossgate or B2B Addons?

Dear Experts,

We are in the process of migrating our Gentran EDI Interfaces to SAP PI. We have been using Seeburger AS2 adapter for an external non-EDI connection. But, to migrate all the EDI interfaces full fledge, which is the better choice - Seeburger (we still need to buy BIC module) or Crossgate or B2B Addons? We would like to implement/maintain these interfaces internally and not outsource it to SAP totally. So, please suggest the best option with the proper justification.

Thanks in advance.

Tool for sending an iDoc over ALE

Hi,

I need some help with this 'newbie' question please..

I have a customer that has an SAP system which is receiving IDOC files through it's ALE interface (they are being send from an old middle-ware system).

This old middle-ware system is being replaced

I'm working with the new middle-ware system that is successfully generating IDOC messages and placing them into a folder in the operating system (Windows).

I would like to create/purchase a tool that can pick up this IDOC text file and send it to SAP.

(a) Are there such tools available ?

(b) Can I create this tool?  I have Java and .NET expertise - so - can I assume that with the SAP jCO libraries (or .Net equivalent) I can write a java program that connects to SAP and sends it the IDOC text over its ALE interface ??

Thanks

Problem after importing sFTP adapter in ESR

$

Hi All,

To use sFTP adapter, in ESR I imported the XI7_11_SFTP_ADAPTER_1.0_00_01.tpz file(found in SDN site). After importing, in the IntegrationDirectory, when I try to open the any old comm. channels in ID, I get the pop-up window with the below error.

"Unable to find associated SLD element for specified class (source element: SAP_XIIntegrationDirectory, [CreationClassName, SAP_XIIntegrationDirectory, string, Name, directory.xd1.tsdux53, string], target element class: SAP_XIIntegrationServer)"

As mentioned in SAP note 1117249, I stopped and restarted the below components.

    - com.sap.xi.directory  and com.sap.aii.af.app from NWA.

But still I do see the above error.

I deleted the software componenent(sFTP tpz file) which I imported in ESR, even then I still see the error in ID.

Now when I create any new comm. channel i do get the above error but I continue creating a channel and after successfully activiating a comm.channel I do see an warning ad below

"Unable to check whether communication channel is compatible with selected Adapter Engine since version information for Adapter Engine is missing in the SLD"

But this comm. channel is not available in the RWB Component Monitoring->AdatperEngine->Communication Channel Monitoring.

It appears something is not in sync with the SLD components. Not sure what to do now.

Can you please help me on this issue?

Note: PI system version is 7.3

Thanks,

raj

Help need.. Ansi X12 to SAP ORDERS Idoc conversion Using B2B Addons

Hi Experts,

Scenario: Ansi X12 file to SAP Orders IDoc.

I have followed the link http://scn.sap.com/community/b2b-integration/blog/2012/09/27/b2b-edi-inbound-step-by-step-configuration

B2B- EDI Inbound -Step by Step Configurationto construct the interface.

ANSI X12 850

Flow1: EDI_Sender(CC_File_Sndr)---->EDISeprater(CC_EDISeparator_X12-850_Rcvr)

Flow2: EDISeprater(CC_EDISeparator_X12-850_Sndr)--->IDoc_AAE (CC_IDoc_AAE_rcvr)

I am able to see the file sender channel picks the file and successfully send to EDI Separator.

The EDI Separator while converting throwing *** error:

Error: com.sap.aii.converter.x12.x122xml.X122XMLException: Error occurred at X12 document character 175: Cannot find conversion rules for 850/004010

Do we need to add anything in the B2B tables?

The interface is developing first time in the PI 7.31 box.

The screen shot from B2B Integration cockpit is attached.

Currently the table fields are empty and would like to know how the fields are added in the B2B tables.

Thanks!

Praveen.

SAP JMS JNDI Connection Factory issue when N/W hiccup occurs

$

Hi,

I am connecting to SAP PI v 7.3 JMS Broker using a JNDI Connection Factory. Everything is fine until the network goes down. The connection factory attempts to reconnect indefinitely until the network comes back up. However, after the network heals, I continue to find that SAP JMS Connection Factory is unable to dispense new connections claiming bad network. The following is the exception trace

Currently, the way to resolve is hard restart of the Java application which creates new JNDI context, connection factory etc. However, that is not acceptable solution. Ideally, I would like the connection factory to reissue proper connection when network heals.

Please let me know if this is a known issue or if there is work around for the same.

Thank you!

Ashwin

SAP PI 7.3.1++B2B Modules

Hi,

Please clarify the following.

1. Difference between 7.3.1 vs 7.3 (Am looking for only Dual stack)

2. Currently we use EDI modules and XSD provided by AEDAPTIVE and they support only till 7.3.

If i go for SAP supplied built in adapters, do we need to redo the mappings as I am not sure whether the XSD will change or not in respect to EDI mappings and modules.

SFTP adapter File Name pattern

Hi Team,

Please help in forming regular expression for Filename in SFTP adapter.

I tried with [a-zA-Z0-9_], [a-zA-Z0-9_].*, [a-zA-Z0-9_].txt ...etc, which didn't worked.

The following are the different type of files available in same directory

CPT_PO_TEXT_%02-06-09%_%15-28-50%.txt

P20120927060000.xls

APZ_20120927_T05D.csv

AIMS_POL_151209_1741.TXT

The numeric values change day by day and have configured 4 sender comm channels.

Please let me know what pattern can be used to pick above mentioned files along with its extensions.

SAP new SFTP adapter functionality

Hi Experts,

We are testing SAP new SFTP adapter with SAP-PI7.3.

We figured out below 2 functionality missing in new SFTP adapter. Can you please guide do we have any alternative to achieve both or is SAP has any plans to add both functionality in future SFTP adapter releases.

Question Point 1: New SFTP adapter is not having option “Advanced Selection for Source File”, like it is there in File Adapter. So we cannot select multiple folders on same SFTP server with one SFTP adapter service, i.e. we have to implement SFTP adapter to poll each folder on same server.

Question Point 2: SAP-SFTP adapter does not support to poll folders with "\", it supports only "/".

Because during testing we figure out, by default SFTP sender adapter put “/” in front of any folder path given in “Directory” field of adapter.

Below is the screen short for reference.

   Hi Experts,

I have scenario in which I am getting two fields from the source system. I have to create a File Name from those fields and Pick the same File Name from a External SFTP Server located on the target and send it back  to the source system. I am able to create the File Name from the source data but my challenge is to place that File Name into the Sender SFTP adapter.

Please let me know how can I achieve this functionality? Is there a workaround to this problem?

Thanks in advance,

PI SFTP text mode missing : convert eol 0a to 0d0a

Hi all,

We need to transfer a unix type file with the new SFTP receiver adapter. During the transfer we need to replace the end-of-line character x'0a' which is typical unix by x'0d0a' which is windows-like.

This works with a normal FTP receiver channel but in the SFTP receiver channel the settings for File transfer mode (binary/text + encoding) and file type (binary/text) in the processing tab are missing. The documentation of the SFTP adapter also does not mention this.

Is this possible with the SFTP adapter??

Is there a module (local enterprise bean) that I can use to convert the end-of-line character??

Thanks

Tom

Hello Community,

we plan a migration from XI 3.0 to PI 7.30 (double stack) or PI 7.31 (double stack). Is it possible to use the existing ccBPM proccesses (from XI 3.0) on SAP PI 7.30 (double stack) or SAP PI 7.31 (double stack)? If yes, how i can change or modify the processes on PI 7.30 or PI 7.31 (like on XI 3.0)?

Error in scenario EDI -> XML using PI B2B addon toolkit

All,

I'm struggling with my inbound EDI scenario.

I've a sender file adapter picking up an EDI file and a receiver EDISeparator channel receiving it. Dummy interfaces and no mapping involved.

No extra modules were used on both the sender and receiver adapter.

When I check the receiver EDISeparator channel, I get this error: no ruleset available (for my specific EDI message).

I also configured a sender EDISeparator channel:

error é.jpg

Within this sender adapter, I used module localejbs/EdifactConverterModule

What am I missing here?

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Can you please help to resolve this behaviour of the comunication channel.

SAP B2B Add on - EDI Inbound

$

0

Hi All,

I have doubt in case of EDI inbound using EDISeparator (SAP B2B Add on). I gone through the document and as per my understanding, in inbound EDI there will be two interface

Interface 1) EDI (AS2 or File adapter) to EDI separator adapter (Receiver)

Interface 2) EDI separator adapter (Sender) to IDoc/ file/etc receiver (It may be something else also)

Q1. In case of interface (1) what should be the Outbound interface and Inbound interface. Since Interface (1) is used to separate mass EDI into individual EDI, so I am not sure about the interface use for mass EDI.

Q2. I believe there will be only single interface of type (1) for each EDI format (ANSI, EDIFACT, etc..) and there will be many interfaces of type (2) based on Partners and EDI transaction.

Please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding and provide your inputs to clear my queries.
